Yeah, Hoeski and Johnny are the worst actors ever.
Backstage, Hoeski and Big Johnny are discussing Big Show’s punishment for picking on poor little Big Johnny’s voice when they’re interrupted by Jericho. Chris wants a World Heavyweight Title shot, Alberto already has it and disagrees with Jericho.
Now Orton shows up and Sheamus too. They all start brawling. Guess what? The WHC Title match at Over The Limit is now a fatal four-way match. I guess when you have nothing better for guys like Jericho and Orton, you just toss them in matches anywhere they’ll fit.
Somebody call my momma! Or your momma. Hell, shut up, Brodus is on!
And it happens. Funkasaurus shows up! And he introduces his Funkadactyls. While he’s making his way to the ring, they put up a small graphic of Brodus Clay with a public service announcement. ”Sunday is Mother’s Day, remember to call yo’ momma!” I love it.
Miz is coming out to face Brodus, and Miz is less than impressed with the idea. He says that if he wanted to face King Hippo, he’d be playing Mike Tyson’s Punchout. To a guy my age, that’s hilarious. To kids born 10 years after that game was even a thing, I’m sure it went over their heads.
The match starts and Miz gets dumped out of the ring. The Funkadactyls point and laugh at Miz. Maybe his pecker slipped out? I don’t know but Miz didn’t appreciate it. And the match is surprisingly decent. Miz gets Brodus down a few times for pin attempts, and Brodus actually has to fight back from near pinfall to regain control.
Ultimately Brodus hits his “Aw Funk It” splash for the three count.
