Because parents want to explain a sobriety test to their 8 year old at a wrestling show.
We’re back and Teddy is standing in the ring with a red tape line down the middle, flanked by two pretend policemen. Jericho comes out to supervise things, and Punk staggers to the ring.
We’re treated to the best drunk impersonation you can imagine from a guy who never drinks. He staggers around, slurs his words, it was a good performance. Just as he’s about to relinquish the title for failing his 10 minute sobriety test, he asks for one more chance to try it.
First he recites the alphabet backwards. That’s hard to do even when you’ve practiced it, and he messes up, transposing the S and the T, but they let that go. All the while he’s walking the line perfectly straight forwards and backwards.
As he reaches the letter “A” he hits Jericho with the microphone of doom and beats him all the way to the back. Big Johnny and Eve are watching backstage and they’re not pleased.
Grade: 
Keep in mind, the grades are subjective and I’m trying to be honest. For this storyline, and in this era, this wasn’t a bad segment. Ran a bit long, but it accomplished something for a change. Punk’s not gonna put up with Jericho’s shit any more.
Now we see more “Brock’s Greatest Hits” as he destroys Hulk Hogan from years ago. Because, Screw Hogan he’s on TNA now.
Sheamus head out to the ring to face Mark Henry and it’s announced that Daniel Bryan will be the Special Guest Referee. ZOMG! Daniel Bryan is facing Sheamus this Sunday at Extreme Rules you guys! Do you think he’s going to be a distraction here tonight for Sheamus?
Wrestlers. THESE GUYS ARE WRESTLERS. LET THEM WRESTLE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!!!
So he distracts Sheamus, daring Sheamus to touch him. Knowing that if Sheamus so much as bumps into a referee he’ll be fired, he shows enormous restraint. Which of course leads to him getting pinned by Mark Henry.
Bryan counts the fastest 3 in the history of forever, making sure that Sheamus loses. Then he throws his referee shirt in the ring and heads out “YES”ing the whole way up the ramp.
Well apparently, once you take the shirt off, you’re no longer a WWE official, so Sheamus can whoop that ass. Which he attempts to do by throwing Daniel back in the ring. He hits Mark Henry with a Brogue kick and then falls victim to the “YES” Lock.
I feel cheated.
Grade: 
Could’ve been a decent match. These two big guys can go and compliment each other fairly well. Instead, we get a bunch of build up for a match on Sunday. Why bother?
We find out that we’re getting a special tag team match brought to us by Taco Bell’s new Doritos Tacos Locos later tonight. Whoopty shit.
