Ok, so I’ve been doing the RAW Regurgitation for a while now and I think I get way too wordy for most people’s tastes. I’ve been thinking about this for a while and I’ve decided that I’m going to change up my format a little bit.
My goal is to assess each segment of the show, whether it’s a talking/acting segment or an actual Pro-Wrestling type of segment. I’m not a guy who can assign a grade to a match like you’ll find on so many fan sites across the internet. Mainly because, I’m not someone who’s ever been in the WWE or any wrestling organization for that matter.
I feel it’s unfair for me to say “ZOMG! That match was pure shit! It gets 1 star or a F-Minus! That was just terrible when Guy A botched his Hurricana on Guy B!!!!” That shit is ridiculous.
What I will do is assign one of two grades to the segment, as a FAN of the product. So from here on out we have two categories. The first is for Speaking/Acting/Non-Wrestling Segments. This will be known as the Rowdy Scale. I will assign anything from Dogshit up to 5 Rowdy Roddy Pipers to the segment, based on how I enjoyed it.
So, when we have a segment where nobody is fighting, I will assign one of these grades and explain myself.
Now, when we’re fighting, interacting physically, or having some semblance of a match, I will use a similar scale, but it will be the Macho Man scale. From Dog Shit to 5 Machos, as such:
I’m hoping this new system will help to keep my thoughts more on point and in focus for those of you reading along at home.
Again, I want to be clear, I’m not rating the match based on some insider knowledge or some pre-conceived notions as to what is technically a superior show. I’m simply assigning my opinions to what I’m watching on TV and will explain myself after each rating.
I encourage you to do the same, and I look forward to bringing many more weeks of the RAW Regurgitation to my 5 visitors.
Let me know what you think! Leave a comment you bastard.
