Miz is apparently still atoning for not being more must-see than Hornswoggle.
Miz is still in the goddamn ring. He’s pissed and he’s ranting about not having a title shot. He wants this match stricken from the record books. He’s the reason Johnny’s even in charge and wants the same deal Big Show got. Whine, whine, bitch, piss, moan. Typical heel stuff. And Miz is good at it.
But he gets interrupted by Orton’s music. Orton comes out, hits the RKO and poses. Ziggler is backstage with Vickie watching the TV. He says he wants out of the tag team and in matches that matter. He wants the title shots. Then we go back to Orton posing for no apparent reason other than he needs to show up to earn his paycheck.
Backstage, Sheamus is smiling and fella’ing around and they start talking about Memorial Day, John Cena and how the two are related in this pre-recorded segment from John Cena about the true meaning of Memorial Day.
And he does that for about 3 minutes. Again, I appreciate the respect they show, I just wish they didn’t act like the world was ending when they introduced the segment. All serious and stuff.
