At this point, I think they've just given up all hopes of running a wrestling show.
We’re back while the announcers blather on about the big General Manager swap and how Big Johnny will get his turn to run Smackdown this Friday. Again I say, whoopty shit. This is supposed to be wrestling, not general managing.
Now, the Miz comes out with his spiffy new T-shirt. Awww Miz looks so cute. And his opponent? The Big Show! Just as the match starts, Miz ducks out of the ring and Cody Rhodes interrupts on the microphone to bring us another “Big Show’s Embarrassing Wrestlemania Moments”. And for this, Show stops to watch the screen in the middle of his match with Miz. Miz is apparently too busy shitting his tights to worry about the fight.
We see footage from WM 18 where Big Show didn’t even participate, but rather, was at the WWE Restaurant in New York rubbing elbows with the WWE Universe. Yeah, that’s embarrassing alright. God forbid he does meet and greets with fans on WM weekend. Ugh. But wait! Suddenly the footage ends and lucky for us too! This is when Miz remembered they were in a match and blindsides Big Show!
Ah shit. Show spears him, then hits him with the knockout punch, the Weapon of Mass Destruction, and wins 1, 2, 3. Total match time? 1 minute. Total segment time? 3 minutes. Why’s that important? Because……..
