Who Needs Wrestling When You've Got Promos?
Tonight’s RAW was broadcast live from the TD Garden in Boston Mass. John Cena’s hometown and just 27 days away from Wrestlemania XXVII! Since we’re on the home stretch of the road to Wrestlemania, it’s to be expected that we’re going to really work hard to get feuds built up, develop some drama heading into the big show. What you might also expect from WWE Television is some “wrestling”. And if you tuned in Monday night, you’ll know that if you blinked at the wrong time, you probably missed what little there was to be had.
This is pretty much the same shit they did back when I stopped watching the show in the early 90′s. It got to be more talk and less action and that’s fine once in a while, but this is becoming a habit. I need to know that if they’re in my city and I plunk down $200 or more to take my kids to the show, they’re going to be able to expect to see some wrestling. They don’t care about all this talking nonsense. That’s for grownups and virgin teenagers who while away their time on internet message boards hating on Cena or discussing work rates, etc.
For god’s sake, it’s WWE, WRESTLE now and then hah? You’ve got like 60 people employed at any given time just for the express purpose of wrestling in front of your crowds. Use them. Anyhow….
