Is this TNA? Christ.

Divas Championship – Beth Phoenix vs. Layla

Um, yeah.  So whatever.  Beth loses, Layla retains.

World Heavyweight Championship – Fatal Four Way

These four guys can go, and they show it in the match.  Lots of great work by everyone involved, and of course, the predictable outcome is predictable.  But it’s the only way they could have Alberto Del Rio lose and not look weak when they ramp up his program to let him challenge one on one for that WHC later this year.

Sheamus retains.

Funkasaurus Matchup – Miz vs. Brodus Clay

They decide to have Miz come out pissy.  He claims to be a better dancer than Brodus, then proceeds to do the Thriller dance or something.  Brodus takes offense and they fight.  Miz loses miserably (see what I did there?) and then Brodus brings some kids into the ring.

Look, I love this character, but he belongs on TV doing his thing until they decide to make him relevant.  Putting him on a PPV is just filler between matches and it diminishes his overall presence if you ask me.

Miz loses.

Intercontinental Championship – Christian vs. Cody Rhodes

A returning Christian is always a good thing.  Turning him face, maybe not so much.  Either way, I’m sure this was a fine match but it was thrown together so hastily that they better start building a feud between these two on TV for a while to get some mileage out of it.  Otherwise it’s another throw-away match.

Christian is your new I.C. Champion.  Yay?
