WWE Championship Match – CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan
I really wish I could have seen this match, I’ve heard it was easily the match of the year. That’s all I can say.
CM Punk retains.
Ryback vs. Camacho
Apparently after the previous match, they realized backstage that they better cool the crowd down or else their entire Big Johnny vs. Regular Johnny match was going to completely shit the bed.
Ryback did as Ryback does, Camacho took an ass whoopin’.
John Laurinitis vs John Cena
Um….how did you think this was going to go? It provided a platform for John Cena to mockingly and decisively NOT B.A. Star. He bullied, humiliated and injured his boss for what I imagine was three or four hours.
Then, as Big Johnny was going to leave, the recently fired and humiliated Big Show shows up to throw him back into the ring. Cena went for the Attitude Adjustment and Big Show hit him with the Knockout Punch, allowing Big Johnny to win.
Yeah. Nobody saw this coming did they? He fires Big Show on Monday, then gets a note from the WWE Board of Directors saying that if any “Superstar” interferes in his match with Cena they will be fired. Big Show, having been fired, is no longer a Superstar and therefore immune to the Board of Directors’ threat of dismissal.
Blech. This was goddamned stupid. And Big Show turning heel for the millionth time? I just…ugh.
